The University of Chicago Science Olympiad is committed to increasing STEM opportunities in Chicago. This year, we are working with UChicago Quantum Society and the National Science Olympiad to develop a quantum-focused event. We also hosted a table at the 2025 South Side Science Festival. We are also partnering with the Illinois Science Olympiad to host a South Side Science Olympiad partial tournament day for schools on Chicago's South side. Finally, we are excited to launch a mentorship opportunity to Chicago Public Schools schools looking to start a team or build their existing team.
